The Human Resources Business Partner provides HR support to the company’s manufacturing facility. This position will be responsible for resolving associate issues, staffing full-time positions, managing temporary staffing efforts, associate relations, performing and providing support to company-wide HR initiatives. In addition, the HR Business Partner ensures compliance with all employment and compensation laws.
  • Provides associate relations support to manufacturing associates.
  • Provides HR generalist support to supervisors and managers including coaching and guidance on associate relations issues, policy interpretation, performance management, problem solving, FMLA, ADA, Worker Compensation and leave of absence administration.
  • Participates on project teams and/or works independently on a variety of projects including the development of new policies, programs, performance management, succession planning, and training.
  • Coordinates associate involvement activities, plans associate appreciation events and coordinates community relations events.
  • Maintain employee HR files according to company and compliance guidelines.
  • Contribute to and execute on the HR strategy.
  • Drive a positive culture that creates an inspiring associate experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or similar.
  • Three to five years Human Resources experience in a manufacturing generalist role.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of general Human Resources policies, procedures and practices.
  • Ability to build relationships, influence others, across multiple operations and corporate support functions.
  • Ability to travel occasionally, as needed, which includes overnight travel.
