We are in search of a FULL TIME Board certified or Board Eligible Family Medicine Physician to provide direct medical care to company employees and their dependents seeing ages 2 and up. The qualified candidate should have at least 2-3 years post residency experience, clinical leadership experience and working knowledge of Electronic Medical Records systems.  THIS IS A BRAND NEW CLINIC/ NEWLY CREATED POSITION. We need a physician who will be able to start in November. It is a plus if you have been a military physician.

While working at this large employer site, you will have the ability to get to know your patients, while helping to improve their health status and taking care of their immediate health needs. You will see approx. 12-15 patients daily. This site offers primary care, Occ health, pharmacy, lab and XRay.

In this position you will be providing acute episodic care, preventive medicine, and chronic disease care to 28,000 company employees and their family members. Most commonly seen cases are those involving hypertension.  Full scope Family Practice environment. Must be able to see ages 2 and up. While this is a Medical Director role, 85% of the role is direct patient care with 15% being administrative and leadership. Other services offered are Travel Health, Wellness exams, Immunizations, Lab services, Physical Therapy, referral management, and basic urgent care, acute episodic.

In SOME cases duties will include occupational health services (i.e., post-offer physicals, occupational surveillance exams, medical monitoring, return to work exams and Worker’s Compensation medical guidance)
In this role you will be supported by Health Center Manager 1 RN,  1 NP, Phlebotomist, Receptionist
Clinic hours: Mon-Fri 8-8. Since this is a new clinic, there are no Saturdays initially, but there is the potential you could be working every third or fourth Sat from 9A-12noon

Summary of Required Qualifications:

• We are considering those who have just completed a residency as well as those with years of experience. BC or BE in Family Medicine.
  • Must be experienced seeing ages 2 and up
    • Experience in a primary care, urgent care or emergency room setting.
    • Must be Board Certified in Family Medicine, Primary Care OR Emergency Medicine or Board Eligible in aforementioned practice areas. If Board Eligible, must take certification exam within twelve months of date of hire.
    • Must have current state and federal DEA certification, able to obtain or in the process of obtaining.
    • Our client is in the process of changing their EMR system over to Epic. Knowledge and experience with Electronic Medical Records.
    • It is a plus if you have Knowledge of workplace health and safety concepts and OSHA regulations.
